Pumpkin Spice

It was a magical early autumn evening. A gentle breeze rustled through the golden leaves, and from Holly Hedgehog’s Bakery, the delicious scent of cinnamon, caramel and pumpkin spice wafted through the windows and hung heavy in the air. All wrapped up in the coziest of knitwear, Fleurette picked up her purse and her pup, and headed out the door. The night sky was clear, the stars were bright, and the moonlight illuminated the path ahead.

She arrived at the home of her friend Angelica, where they sat for a while in her newly renovated kitchen of chocolate brown floral wallpaper, cream colored tile countertops and shiny new appliances. For a half hour or so they admired the space and caught up over a pot of coffee. Afterwards, they left to meet up with their friend Crystal and her adorable twin girls, Gemma and Pearl.

Tonight it’s the annual Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice girls’ night out, a friendship tradition started long before the twins were born.

The energy of the new season had everyone in good spirits! Gemma and Pearl were all abuzz, eager to visit the pumpkin patch. Mini Magic Pumpkin Patch to be exact! It’s a favorite in town for all ages, but especially for young children, with it’s not too scary hay bale maze and plenty of happy hauntings.
